How animation style works in Moralab
Zoom is rendered locally over a still image. AI generated motion uses an image-to-video model such as MiniMax H3 Max, MiniMax H3 Max Turbo, Seedance 2.0 Mini, or Seedance 2.5.
For AI-generated social content, motion should support the story and captions. The goal is not constant movement, but movement that helps the viewer follow the idea.
2 choices
Motion choices
Moralab offers a built-in Zoom effect for still images and AI generated motion for clips that should move inside the scene.
1. Zoom
A built-in camera move over the generated still. Moralab can zoom in, zoom out, pan, and set intensity per clip.
Creates: Simple, reliable motion without spending AI motion credits.
Best for: Most faceless videos, documentary pacing, facts, history, explainers, and series production.
Moralab tip: Use Zoom when you want dependable movement and readable captions across many scenes.
Example:
- "A slow Zoom in on a Cinematic scene while the narrator explains the key detail."
2. AI generated motion
An image-to-video model creates motion within the scene itself, such as moving people, shifting camera perspective, atmosphere, or physical action.
Creates: More lifelike clips when still-image movement is not enough.
Best for: Premium scenes, talking-to-camera videos, product moments, action, and cinematic reveals.
Moralab tip: AI generated motion uses generation credits and requires a paid plan. Use it where movement adds real value.
Example:
- "AI generated motion turns a product scene into a short moving clip with subtle hand and camera movement."

AI motion models
When AI generated motion is selected, Moralab uses the enabled image-to-video model catalog. The exact model can be chosen in the motion grid.
1. MiniMax H3 Max
The default AI motion option for polished image-to-video clips.
Creates: Reliable generated motion for high-quality social scenes.
Best for: Most AI generated motion, especially when the scene contains realistic people or needs dependable output.
Moralab tip: Choose MiniMax H3 Max when you want the safest general-purpose AI motion choice.
Example:
- "MiniMax H3 Max animates a realistic desk scene with polished camera and subject movement."
2. MiniMax H3 Max Turbo
A faster, lower-cost MiniMax option for short motion clips.
Creates: Quicker AI motion generation for videos where speed and cost matter.
Best for: Drafting, testing, frequent publishing, and scenes that do not need the highest motion quality.
Moralab tip: Use Turbo for iteration, then upgrade important hero scenes if needed.
Example:
- "MiniMax H3 Max Turbo generates quick movement for a list-video scene while you test the edit."
3. Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5
Premium Seedance options for stronger physical coherence and more advanced motion, with 2.5 as the highest-cost tier.
Creates: More ambitious scene motion when the source image and budget fit.
Best for: Cinematic clips, action, atmospheric moments, and scenes where motion quality matters most.
Moralab tip: Seedance can reject some realistic-person images; MiniMax is often the more reliable fallback.
Example:
- "Seedance 2.5 adds cinematic movement to a wide fantasy scene with atmospheric depth."
4 controls
Per-clip motion controls
After generation, individual clips can be adjusted so the whole video does not feel repetitive.
1. Zoom direction
For Zoom clips, choose No zoom, Zoom in, or Zoom out.
Creates: Scene-by-scene variation without changing the whole video's motion setup.
Best for: Guiding attention, revealing context, and keeping generated stills alive.
Moralab tip: Zoom in for focus. Zoom out when the scene should reveal more context.
Example:
- "A mystery scene uses Zoom in on the clue, then the next scene uses Zoom out for context."
2. Zoom intensity
Set the strength of the zoom motion from calmer to stronger movement.
Creates: Better pacing between quiet scenes and hook moments.
Best for: Balancing readability, energy, and scene variety.
Moralab tip: Use stronger intensity sparingly. Captions and faces need room to breathe.
Example:
- "A hook scene uses high intensity, while the explanation scenes use lower intensity."
3. Motion preset
For AI motion clips, choose Balanced, Calm, Cinematic, or Action in the clip's Style tab.
Creates: A clearer instruction for how much movement the AI motion model should create.
Best for: Fine-tuning AI generated clips after the first storyboard is created.
Moralab tip: Use Calm for ambient scenes, Cinematic for atmosphere, and Action only when fast movement fits the story.
Example:
- "A serious documentary clip uses Cinematic, while a fast sports-style clip uses Action."
4. Talking to camera
When the presentation style is Talking to camera, Moralab uses AI generated motion and can optionally lip sync the speaker.
Creates: Presenter-style clips instead of standard b-roll scenes.
Best for: Creator-led videos, explainers, personal brands, and avatar-like social clips.
Moralab tip: Talking to camera requires AI generated motion, so plan credits and subscription tier accordingly.
Example:
- "A talking presenter explains the first step while lip sync speaker matches the voice-over."
How to choose an animation style.
Use motion with intent
A zoom should emphasize something. A pan should reveal something. Motion is strongest when it has a job.
Protect readability
If the captions are important, avoid motion that makes the viewer fight the text.
Vary the pace
Mix calm motion with stronger hook moments so the edit has rhythm instead of constant intensity.
